This 19 week trip started with a flight from San Francisco via Amsterdam to Dar Es Salaam. We traveled mostly by local transport to Johannesburg, South Africa where I picked up a rental for the next 6 weeks. Then we returned to Dar Es Salaam with a couple of spur journeys.
