Malagasy Kingfisher (Corythornis vintsioides)
An ancient city in the highlands of Madagascar
Visits
- 2017-11-08: We stopped off in Antsirabe to break up our journey. Following several days of rainforest hiking, we were ready for some civilization. But, after walking around the hotel room for awhile, barefoot, we discovered a "deadly" (according to the front desk) scorpion on the floor of the bathroom. Fortunately, that did not end badly. But, our attempt to score a great pizza did end badly when we discovered a 45 minute wait. We went off to another restaurant where we watched some live music.
