Visits

2013-01-15: Our next stop was the obligatory tour of Halong Bay. My highlight for the trip was buying a beer from an unofficial boat vendor while kayaking. I was told not to buy from the outside vendors, lest I get sick, but I was sickened more by the food on the official boat... This was where I made my first attempt of the trip to swim. The water was cold, but I swam for five minutes before giving up.
