Visits
- 2012-11-07: I woke up early to get a chance to check out these wetlands on my own. It was good to get back to driving on the wrong side of the road, and I found the wetland without much problem. Walking around the wetland was interesting as I saw my first Wallaby (a marsupial that is a little smaller than a kangaroo but very similar). As it turns out, a lot of the bird life that I saw in the wetland, I did not see anywhere else on my trip to Australia. After a couple of hours at the wetland, I was ready for an expensive breakfast, and I headed back into Cairns.
