Visits
- 2011-01-06: From Bishangari, it took us a couple of hours to reach Hawassa, fairly easy on a paved road. After eating a pretty good pizza, we checked into a hotel and explored the town. Marabou storks were flying around everywhere, and the lakefront was quite lively in preparation for the Ethiopian Christmas celebrations. This was a great place to see birds since they were mostly habituated to people.
