Playa de los Reyes, also known as Peso Island is a long sandy island about 100 meters from San Blas. I paid a guy with a boat 20 pesos to drive me to the other side. The other side consists of a small farm with a bakers dozen of zebu cattle, some shrubby areas next to a road which leads up a hill to the lighthouse, and a very long flat sandy beach. Sprinkle in a couple of jejenes, and you have the perfect habitat for shorebirds.
