Visits

  • 2003-03-13: We visited this site over two days with the main intent to watch the chimpanzees.
  • 2017-01-10: We signed on for a full day of chasing the Green-breasted Pitta and the Chimpanzees. Chimpanzees were a trip, and at one point I was being charged by a Chimp who was being charged by another Chimp and both making some awful sounds. The guide yelled "Give Way!" about one second before I was to be flattened, and the chimp walked past me about six inches from touching me.
