Visits

• 2025-03-02: After our walk to the west of Tarifa, we spent the late afternoon walking east from Tarifa. It was a little difficult to follow the trail, and we had to turn around a couple of times. While we were out walking around, it started to rain a bit.
• 2025-03-03: We were in Algeciras to pick up a rental car, and on the way home, we decided to look at the view over Gibraltar. Then, more rain.
• 2025-03-05: A couple of friends came to visit from Scotland, and we used our two cars to do a long one-way hike along the coast. It was a bit difficult to find the trailhead, and eventually, we got to a bad part of the road. We parked the car under some windmills and continued on foot. After a short walk, we had to cross a river. The rain really picked up after that. We continued for about 10 miles on muddy paths before finally arriving back in Tarifa. The all-day rain made getting back to the first car a challenge. The roads had become quite flooded due to this rain. We eventually had to abandon the retrieving car and walk through some puddles to get to the first car. Fortunately, we did not get stuck in the wilds.
