4/17/2023: We arrived after a long drive, and we were immediately yelled at for parking in the wrong location. After that was sorted out, we walked around swarmed by thousands of flies that wanted nothing more than to crawl into your mouth, nose, and eyes. Luckily, Barbara was prepared with head nets.



4/18/2023: We had tried to get the permission to spend the night in the "Wilderness Camp" nearby, but we were informed that it was for four-wheel drive only. At any rate, we did get the key and were allowed to drive there the next morning. As often seems to be the case in Australia, the road was fine, and I would have been comfortable driving a Toyota Corolla into the "four wheel drive" track. I think that these four wheel drive roads in Australia might be back-handed way of keeping out the riff-raff...
