Africa: Eastern and Southern

12/12/2002: Next on the agenda was a trip into a large salt pan where animals were meant to be at this time of year. However, most of the animals had not arrived due to unusual weather patterns.

At night, we were treated to a massive electrical storm with lightening flashing everywhere in the distance.
