  • 2019-07-02: After some looking around and a scary morning fog, we arrived to perfectly clear weather at the beach town we visited the day before. And the restaurant was not overrun giving us a chance for a good lunch. We climbed up the hill next to town and ended up by chance more or less exactly on the centerline for the solar eclipse. Since we were also on the west coast of Chile, we were (by milliseconds) among the first people to see the eclipse!
