Site Report: Mahajanga

• 2017-11-21: We were dropped in Mahajanga for the final hurrah. Of all the cities in Madagascar, I think this was the nicest. Our first stop was the post office where we could want them stamp about 20 pieces of paper as part of the ritual of sending one postcard. We walked around looking for a beach, and we did find it. There was even a brand new promenade. After getting yelled at for walking on the overpass, we headed back to our lunchtime drink restaurant to get dinner. There is another promenade where you can hire a car for your toddler to drive around.
• 2017-11-22: After a long and hot boat trip not finding Bernier's Teal, we heading back to the city to get ready for the airport. We asked the guide to take us to the best restaurant, and he took us to the exact beach shack that we had found the day before by chance. There was some swimming in the ocean after that just before we caught our flight back to Tana.
