Visits

  • 2017-01-01: Dense fog hosed us on our flight out of Dubai not to mention the weird transit for terminal number two. After waiting in line forever, it was announced that our flight was cancelled, and everyone was offered a flight through Addis Ababa leaving later in the day. Addis was pretty festive for the New Year's celebration, but in the end, we experienced the New Year at some random time inside the airplane, and we did not arrive in Uganda until 2 in the morning. Waking up next to Lake Victoria was pretty cool, however, with all kinds of activity early in the morning. Our driver, Gerald, arrived as scheduled, and we were off to the wilds of Uganda.
