2016-03-06: We arrived in Ternate with no plan and probably more foreigners than Ternate had seen in the past ten years combined. We met up with a couple of local college kids who we hired to take us around. People in Ternate were very excited to see foreigners. On the one hour ferry ride to Sofifi, thirteen different people asked me to be in their "selfie" photo.
