Site Report: Tangkoko National Park

Visits

• 2016-03-03: Walked around all over the place in the park while the fun coughing part of the illness began. I spent much of the previous night coughing and scratching the still itching bites of exactly one bazillion chiggers. In addition, I took about forty showers during the night to cool off from the oppressive heat and humidity.
• 2016-03-04: Rode on a motorbike up to a high point above the park. From there, it was a bush-whack to get to an observation point. The guide seemed very bored. Later, we went into the mangroves.
