- 2016-02-22: After arriving in Singapore, I was pleased to see how easy and inexpensive it was to ride the elevated trains around the city. I checked my bags at the hotel, and I rode over to the free to enter botanical gardens. I think there might have been more people tidying up the park than there were people visiting. Almost all the birds in the park were very tame.
