2015-03-25: We arrived late due to some problem with the airplane and a bird. Fortunately, the airline was able to hold the connection for the flight to La Gomera for us. We drove away from the airport, and into the incredibly curvy roads. To get anywhere on the island, you need to first go up to the top into the cloud forest. This makes for some very interesting driving when it is dark or if it is foggy. Especially if it is dark AND foggy and a landslide has cut off our route to the hotel.
