Kalalau Lookout, Kokee State Park

Red-crested Cardinal, Kokee State Park

Red Jungle Fowl, Kauai
A great high elevation location on Kauai. The vegetation here is possible best described as rainforest shrubs... but not really too similar to any other place I have been. This is known as the rainiest place on earth.
Visits
- 2005-03-25: We spent two nights in some cabins in the state park. The air temperature was very cool, in the 50s, and it rained and misted almost the entire time.
