2013-11-05: We stopped by here a couple of times to and from the eclipse with a broken car and to drop off the security guard shakedown team. Driving back toward Kitale, we encountered a storm in our broken car. After it rained for 30 minutes or so, we were blocked by a huge torrent of flood water (it was completely dry in the channel before the rain) where we met the cow truck here for the first time.
