Forest hike near Dalat

- 2013-01-21: Our first excursion from Dalat was a trip to walk through the forest near a lake south of town. We arrived at the trailhead just after sunrise, and we walked up through a village and into the jungle. My new shoes were showing weakness. The terrain was not all that difficult, but I could feel every rock during our several hour walk. The person who stole my shoes was probably somewhere watching television. At one point during the walk, a couple of motorcycles came by. One of the motorcycles nearly crashed into me as that was about the last thing I expected to see in the jungle.
