A couple of lakes and deciduous forest in Western Minnesota.
Visits
- 2012-07-09: From Sax-Zim, I took the backwoods route through Minnesota. Pretty uneventful though I did see a bald eagle flying over the road. There was a small wildlife refuge marked on the map not far from where I was heading, so I dropped in for a quick look. The main features of this refuge were swarms of biting flies.
