A very basic campsite next to a small river. The surrounding area is a former pasture, but the forest has regenerated spectacularly. The GPS is an estimate.
Visits
- 2009-03-13: We left in the morning from Cana, and we spent most of the daylight hours walking through rain forest to this next campsite. We arrived pretty exhausted, and everyone was soon in the river cooling off and cleaning off the grime. We were able to see helicopter wreckage from the US invasion of Panama in 1989.
