The Road
This town borders a large tract of cloud forest. A good sized river runs through the town as well.
Visits
- 2009-03-03: Due to the bus schedules, we decided to spend a night and morning exploring the cloud forest near Santa Fe. We arrived in the town late in the afternoon, and by night, the weather had turned nasty with wind and rain. Again. We tried to go into the cloud forest in morning, and a taxi dropped us off near the trail head. The ground was mud, and the air was pea soup. After a short jaunt in the forest, we were forced to return to town.
