Visits
- 2009-02-23: We got a bus going south from Cartago, and I hoped to stop here to look for the Volcano Junco. When we arrived, the bus driver let us out into a cold pea soup with high winds. Barbara, the camera, and I were soaked within minutes. The weather was so bad up here that we only stayed for about 15 minutes at which time the bus to Puerto Jiminez (our intended destination) miraculously showed up and stopped to pick us up. The lens of the camera was seriously fogged, and it took some drying time in the sun to get back into commission.
