Visits
- 2009-02-22: We were picked up by the shared taxi and arrived at the reserve early in the morning only to encounter pouring rain. Stupidly, we did not rent the rubber boots for $1, and we found ourselves in ankle deep mud while we hiked the trails. After a few hours, the rain let up, and we were able to get a short look at the activity in the mostly second growth forest. We took the shared taxi back to town in the early afternoon so that we could catch our bus to San Jose.
