- 2026-05-02: We were told that the way to get from Sorata to Copacabana was to take the minibus back to La Paz in order to catch another bus. This seemed pretty annoying, it would add at least 3 hours to the trip. Instead, we made the attempt to exit the bus at the intersection for Copacabana to try and join a trip in progress. After we exited the minibus, it looked pretty bleak. There were dozens of people waiting at that intersection. A taxi showed up, and it was immediately swarmed. After about 10 minutes of waiting, however, the Copacabana bus showed up, and we were able to get a seat.
