- 2026-05-01: We took a minibus to Sorata. The driver was especially crazy, which was ok because I had to use the restroom the entire ride. Once we arrived in Sorata, it was clear that we were going to run out of cash. We tried to find a place that would accept a bank transfer, but none of the services was working. Eventually, we noticed that the bank ATM machine was open even though it was a bank holiday, and we were able to acquire some cash. We walked up the road behind town for a few miles to look for the Berlepsch's Canastero. The bird did not show itself well, however.
