2026-04-30: We were told by some people that Humamarca was off-limits due to people in the area upset about outsiders. The guide at Tiwanaku, however, did not agree, and he offered to guide us to the location. We drove over only to encounter some very high winds. The local people did not seem to notice us, maybe because the car that we arrived in was so beat up. We stuck around for a few minutes in the wind before heading back to La Paz.
