Visits

  • 2026-01-18: We went up early to try and see the Pheasants, but when we got to the pheasant spot, there were a bunch of people who had set up blinds very close to the spot where they are often seen. There were a few people without blinds walking around as well. The pheasants never showed up, and we spent the day walking around on the upper level.
  • 2026-01-19: We tried again in the morning for the Hume's Pheasant. This time, there was a car parked too close to the usual area. Some other people showed up late and tried to get in close with the photo blind. We heard the Pheasant calling, but it never did come out. After that, we tried to clean up on birds missed the previous day.
  • 2026-01-21: We went up to the top of Doi Lang again to try for the pheasants. This time, we made sure that we were the first to arrive. We parked the car a little further back than necessary in order to not scare the pheasants. It worked, and this time there were three pheasants making an appearance.
