- 2025-12-05: After our morning trip to Chiltern, we embarked on a shopping expedition to wine region around Wangaratta. I nearly drove off the road after seeing a Pacific Heron standing on the side of a cow pond. After tasting cheese, wine, coffee, and mustard, we drove down some very dusty backroad to get to a swamp that I had seen on a map. After driving all that way on the dirt road, it turns out, it was only an extra mile to drive on paved roads the whole time.
