- 2025-09-03: Our last day in Malaysia started with a flat tire. Turns out, a previous user of the rental car patched an inch long gash instead of replacing the tire. Anyway, the tire was going to be a problem for the rest of the trip. We drove over with our half-patched tire to a nearby mangrove, still looking for that Mangrove Whistler, which we did not find.
