Visits
- 2025-07-08: The route from Buenaventura to Jorupe was longer than expected due to a number of landslides along the way. It seemed like everywhere a hillside had been deforested that there was a landslide, which equaled a lot of mud in the road. We arrived at Jorupe just before dark.
- 2025-07-09: We were up early to walk along the road next to the reserve. The birds were pretty slow to appear until suddenly there was a mixed flock with 20 or so species around 9AM. We walked around on most of the trails in the reserve during the rest of the day.
