2025-06-01: It was snowing in June, but we walked up to the top of the Peyto Lake overlook anyway. While standing on the top, I was shocked to finally see two White-tailed Ptarmigan fly by. I was too slow to take out the camera, and I missed the shot as one of them flew back past us a minute later.
