2025-04-07: After the morning of the futile search for the amazon, we went to a drier forest just up the road from Colihut. Parking the car on that hill was quite the challenge when you are next to a very steep cliff. We came back to the same place later in the day with a better parking lot. This time, we heard the pewee, but we still were not able to see it.
2025-04-08: In the afternoon, we made another try for the Lesser Antillean Pewee, and this time we were successful.
