2025-03-23: We started driving up the steep hill to get to a nature trail. It was Sunday, and there was almost no human activity visible on the island. We were trying to get to the trail as soon as it opened, but we reached a gate. We walked around a bit before the gate where we saw a number of the garden birds, but the gate was still not opening. Then, somehow I realized that we were no longer on the main road to the reserve. We started driving up a different road, and we encountered a man walking. He told us the reserve was not open yet, and he was walking there to open it. We gave the man a ride to the top, and we continued to walk up to the viewpoint.
