Site Report: Playa Los Lances

• 2025-03-02: We rented an apartment in Tarifa, staying for 9 days. This is a bit longer than we usually stay in the same place, but let's see how it goes. It was good weather if a little windy, and we decided to walk west from our apartment to the Los Lances area. Despite many signs about protecting the wildlife in the area, there were so many people with off-leash dogs and/or horses in the wildlife area. Because of this, it was difficult to get any good wildlife observations. The ocean itself was covered in kiteboarders and windsurfers as well, though they were better behaved regarding the shorebirds.
