2024-08-31: After leaving the ferry, we eventually got into a shared taxi going to Ruteng. We were not really sure what we were going to do for the final few days, but on the spot, we offered the driver a bonus to make a detour to the lake. There was a guide included with the entrance fee, and the driver, the guide, and the driver's friend all followed us into the forest trail. In the end, we felt pretty rushed by everyone, so we decided that we would just go straight to Labuan Bajo after lunch.
