2024-08-30: We started in the morning in search of "km 51" as promised by the internet. The place that is marked as km 51 on the internet was actually a different marker, or so said the driver. Anyway, we walked off into the countryside from this pulloff in the road. It seemed to me that there may have been quite a bit of logging around there recently. There was some habitat there, but not many birds. Maybe it was the wrong place? So, then we went to the "real" km 51, and there was some village in progress in that area. So, maybe we never found the right place. From there, we had to go pay our national park fees from the previous day before heading off toward the ferry.
