Mountains

Visits

  • 2024-08-19: We headed up early into the mountains to explore that area. There was this house where we stopped for lunch, and the top of the door was quite low. That was the second time cracking my head in Indonesia. We walked around the market a bit to pick up some betelnut. It is traditional to pass that around as gifts.
  • 2024-08-20: The caban that we rented for the night, it turned out that the bed was broken. All good, we put the mattress on the floor for the night. Then, I turned off the light to find out that the neighbors were relying on it. The next morning, we were given a ceremonial cloth as honored guests.
