- 2024-08-07: It was getting late in the day, but we thought that maybe we had enough time to check out the mangroves. As we traveled to the site, however, the rains picked up a bit. When we arrived, there was a full on rainstorm, and it was difficult to see anything.
- 2024-08-08: After getting rained out the previous day, we tried to check out the site again, this time without rain.
