2024-08-06: We spent the night in a waterfront hut with a nice coral reef just offshore. In the afternoon, we walked over to the strait that separated our island from a larger sister island. Some guy was trying to tell me that the scuba diving here was the best anywhere. I was not too certain about that, but I was curious, so I walked into one of the dive resorts to see if I could do any diving. Of course, they have their policies to keep out the riff-raff, and I was rejected. So, the next day, I swam about a mile to go snorkel in their extra special reef where I saw a few sharks and sea turtles.
