2024-07-28: Picked up from the airport in Sorong, and then there was a surprisingly easy drive to the trailhead to get into the village.
2024-07-29: Went early to find the Magnificent Riflebird. We heard him a bunch, but he never made an appearance. Then we walked around in the much and leaches all day.
2024-07-30: Made another attempt at the riflebird, successful this time. Then we walked back on the boardwalk for our return to Sorong.
