2024-04-02: We tried to go to a spot on the road outlined in the Steve Howell book, and we did find a place to pull off. That place, however, turned out to be someone's driveway. We met the man, and he was OK with parking there and looking around for the Oaxaca Sparrow. I walked around for awhile, but really, this is not the greatest place to look for birds with the loud road nearby and overgrown trails. I did eventually find the sparrow, though, along with the real parking space (now unusable with road upgrades)
