Visits
- 2024-02-29: After the nightmare that is Higashiama, we woke up early to conquer another tourist trap, the bamboo forest. After injuring myself rushing for the 6:20AM train, we arrived to find that there were already a bunch of tourists. We walked around the hills and the neighborhood for a bit, but the people living here are clearly tired of all the tourists, and it was a bit difficult to find a path that wasn't "private property" or "keep out". All was not lost, however, as we ran into a troop of monkeys on the trail.
