• 2024-02-01: In "Support for the Cuban people" we were dropped off in Cienfuegos to catch another cab onward to Trinidad. We waited for awhile for a shared taxi, but we ended up in a private taxi in some ancient Peugot. Arriving in Trinidad, we were constantly accosted by people trying to tout restaurants and so on. Eventually, we got settled in a casa particular, and then we took a taxi to a nearby beach called La Boca. The beach smelled funny, but at least people weren't hassling us so much in that place. We got a good restaurant recommendation, and ate dinner there before heading back to Trinidad. In Trinidad, we went to a couple of clubs where there was some live music and dancing.
