Visits

  • 2023-09-30: We left the heat of La Selva on a trip to higher elevation. The road to our accommodation was mostly fine until we were just about there. Going up a hill, we got stuck on a steep gravelly part. We were able to reverse back down the hill, though. So, we decided to walk the last kilometer. Just then, the daughter of the hotel owner drove by in her 4x4, and we got a ride to the hotel.
  • 2023-10-01: Woke up to the sound of chickens. I walked up the road a bit which was full of parrots. After breakfast, we walked with the owner of the hotel to a hidden waterfall. The hike involved walking for a bit in the river.
