2023-08-03: After the trip from Baeza, we finally arrived at the lodge along a gravel road. I was just in time to see a Tayra in the trees next to the lodge. That night, I had a look at all of the crazy looking moths and other insects attracted to lights at the lodge.
2023-08-04: The first full day in the lodge, we walked up toward the small village nearby. While we were there, it started raining cats and dogs. It must have rained 10 inches in an hour. Afterward, at the lodge, there was a HUGE earthworm flushed out by the rain.
2023-08-05: The last day at the lodge, we walked to one of the lower trails in the morning. Then, we walked around the lodge on some steep trails in the afternoon. That night, there was another round with the moth lights. There were several completely new moths that were not there two nights prior.
