About Nova Scotia--it's a beautiful province full of old Irish style pubs that play funky music with a lot of people drinking brew and being friendly and sometimes silly. :) It's also a huge Christmas tree farm! A lot of the land is used to grow Christmas trees, one big one is usually sent to Boston, i think, every year...for some reason, I'm not quite sure of the history... Halifax, the capital, is a multicultural, happenin' place...see above about the pubs and stuff. It's also the major port city where a lot of immigrants came into Canada from Europe, etc., back in the old days. Anyway, you should try to visit, it's a wonderful place to tour around and I haven't done it justice. Those are just a few things off the top of my head.
