About The Puerto Rican Bullfinch

Loxigilla portoricensis is confined to Puerto Rico (to U.S.A.) (del Hoyo et al. 2011). The subspecies grandis formerly occurred on St Kitts, St Kitts and Nevis, but it has not been recorded since 1880 and is now considered extinct (Bond 1956).
