About The Bearded Reedling

The bearded tit lives hidden in large reed marsh fields. Nevertheless, it is a notable bird. The males have a beautiful black beard, which is where they got their name. The number of bearded tits is strongly related to the weather. During a warm summer, a pair of bearded tits can easily raise 10 to 20 chicks. However, severe winters are deadly for this bird. Many will then perish.
